Sylvester McCoy Interview

On Tuesday, March 15, 2011, I had the wonderful pleasure of interviewing Sylvester McCoy for the Geeky Pleasures Radio Show on The Force 925 (@TheForce925). The interview aired on Friday, March 18, 2011.

The purpose of these interviews were to discuss their roles in a new audio drama: The Minister of Chance. If you haven’t yet, you can read my review here.

Also, if you haven’t yet, I highly recommend you listen to both the Prologue: The Pointed Hand and the trailer of Episode 1: The Broken World (purchase Episode 1 here).

And now for some show notes:

  • There was a fair amount of background static that I had to clean up. At some points, you can still hear a bit of it. I did my best to clean it up without making either one of us sound completely robotic.
  • Yet again, my time with Sylvester was limited. This time it was because I had other appointments. I really want to dub this interview “Storytime with Sylvester McCoy“. Aside from discussing with Sylvester the same things Lauren and I talked about, he told me stories about his past as a stunt man and bouncer, we talked about his long acting career including what it was like to work with Sir Ian McKellen, mused about the days of innocence and the world in general, discussed literature, talked a bit about The Hobbit and future travel plans, plus other marvelous things.
  • At the beginning of the interview, you’ll hear the Geeky Pleasures Radio Show them song by Chris Cogott.
  • The interview is 47 minutes and 2 seconds in length.
  • The size is 43 MB
  • The format is mp3, 128 kbps, 44.1 khz, stereo.

I hope you enjoy!
